OLHC Announces Alliance with Richmond Hill Rams and Espanola Kings

The Ontario Lightning Hockey Clubs are pleased to announce a five year deal with the Richmond Hill Rams and Espanola Kings of the Greater Metro Junior ‘A’ Hockey League.

Part of the agreement allows for the name change from the Richmond Hill Rams to the Ontario Lightning Rams.

A new logo incorporating the Rams and Lightning designs will be introduced soon, and implemented for the 2008/2009 season.

Everyone playing for the Rams and Kings will have full access to all of the élite training programs, in both the summer and hockey season. These programs include Dryland Training, Skating Treadmills, On Ice programs, and mentoring. In addtiion there will be scholarship programs for qualified players.

This will be the most comprehensive Junior development program offered today. Our goal is to provide and prepare players for future opportunities whether they be Junior ‘A’, college, or university, or professions enabling one to prosper in the hockey business.

We are very excited about the future of all the organizations.
